It is amazing how the Lord weaves the story/feast of Passover into the story of redemption through Jesus Christ. When I think of Passover, I am vividly reminded of how the Lord freed the Israelites from their physical slavery and agony under the Egyptians. And the only reason the Israelites were exempt (unlike the first nine plagues) from the death of the firstborn was because of the blood of the lamb on the doorposts. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus our Passover Lamb, He has freed us from the slavery and agony of sin, and given us new life! He no longer sees the sin that stains us, but looks upon the blood of the Lamb of those who believe. We have been redeemed by the perfect Passover Lamb, and we have the final remission of sins through the Messiah. Blessing to you all today! Passover is indeed a beautiful celebration!!
